Dr. Berkowski is the owner of WNC Psychological Services. She is a licensed psychologist and has provided high-quality psychological services for over 10 years. Dr. Berkowski offers a range of psychological services including sex therapy, individual and relational therapy, psychological evaluation, training, and consultation.

 

Dr. Berkowski received her BA from Kalamazoo College. She earned her MA and PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Detroit Mercy. She has advanced training in sex therapy and LGBTQ+ affirming treatment through Widener University. Dr. Berkowski is a member of the American Psychological Association (APA), American Association for Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT), and the North Carolina Psychological Association (NCPA). She currently serves on the Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committee of the NCPA, and the boards of PFLAG Asheville and the YWCA – Asheville.

 

Outside of her work, she enjoys the wonderful mountains of Western North Carolina, cooking, women’s soccer, and spoiling her poorly behaved wiener dog.
